I was born and raised in Tampa, FL and I have been an artist for over 20 years. I have used various materials and techniques to create art that is unique and visually dynamic. While receiving attending college, my passion for learning and experimenting with a multitude of traditional and nontraditional mediums was ignited.
My primary inspiration has been nature and my love and respect of the environment. This has led me to create art that is made from recycled materials such as Styrofoam, plastic lids, broken glass, etc…. My use of unexpected materials and found objects combined with my love of color has helped me create my own style of work that is both distinctive and engaging. I am passionate about educating and encouraging others to make art, especially from post-consumer materials; feeling that if we don’t lesson our waste, there will be no beautiful landscapes left to paint.
